When creating this piece I was inspired by Edita Juseviciute's beautiful photography from her trip in India. I really wanted to capture the life that this man has lived using the vibrancy of colour bursting from him contrasting to his solemn, monotone expression. This reflects the good and bad that he may have experienced shown through every fine wrinkle but his soul is still bright and hopeful a trait we all aspire to have.
